Madre Maria Clara Social Work

In February 2024, Elred developed a Corporate Social Responsibility project on the island of Pico in the Azores, with the Madre Maria Clara Social Work, which receives and educates children from an early age to 18 who are victims of abandonment, neglect and abuse.

This project involved helping a special 6-year-old child who hadn't been able to communicate since birth and needed special equipment and software to do so. This equipment, donated by ElRed, made it possible for this child to finally communicate and, as such, feel heard, able to express his feelings and be happier.
